A small metal
clock face is placed on the table along with a deck of cards. The magician
points out that it is just a clock face and is non-functioning, in other
words the time does not change. Next, a spectator decides how many
cards are to be dealt into four separate piles. When the top card of each
randomly formed pile is turned over, three of the cards exactly predict the
time on the clock face. The fourth card is found predicted on the back of
the clock! Complete with metal clock face, a
drawstring pouch, and the secret instructions (provide your own deck of
ordinary cards).
